  • A native son with undergraduate and law degrees from UNC.


  • Has a masters in public policy from LSE and was also selected for a Marshall Memorial Fellowship


  • A veteran who volunteered for the US Army reserve and served 3 tours of duty in Iraq and Afghan in the Judge Advocate General Corps


  • Was awarded the Bronze Star and the Doug Macaurthur award for Leadership in groundbreaking work prosecuting contractors for criminal misconduct
